- Saw his jazz combo with like 20 other people at the Hawthorne Theater just to see him do his thing up close. Got a signed drum head at the merch booth, the lady working it was the social media manager for SP and I got to personally thank her for the gerard way posting. Good times good drummer

- The best jimmy chamberlin that isn’t jimmy chamberlin. made himself deaf from hitting too damn hard and we thank him for his sacrifice
- Meg White (White Stripes)
- Listen to/watch the live recordings if you still don’t think she’s a genius. The best moment working with any drummer is that mind meld look you give when you’re locked in and about to do some accent or change that is unspoken. She’d do that the entire show, just magic moment after magic moment constantly locked in
- Bill Berry (R.E.M.)
- Also contributed to a fair number of songs on the melodic front. Even on the drums alone, there is a damn good reason he gets equal songwriting credit on each tune before his departure
- Janet Weiss (Quasi)
- The best bill berry who isn’t bill berry. may all those who have wronged her continue to write worse and worse records
- George Daniel (The 1975)
- Mainly on this list for his work as a producer but his grooves also crazy
- Lol and Budgie (they shared a stage/tour they can share a spot on the list)
- Inventors of the thing everyone is still trying to do. Their recent tour was sick, seeing both of these guys and Miki from Lush in one night was badass. Copped a signed poster from both boys <3
- Jason McGerr (DCFC)
- Secret weapon of this band is the rhythm section. Go back and re-listen, he’s doing crazy stuff
- Stephen Morris (Joy Division / New Order)
- The living drum machine. Kept Fall Out Boy’s Andy Hurley off this list and for that we thank him
